KEENzine4
Welcome to the fourth issue of KEEN’zine! This issue highlights entrepreneurially minded learning (EML) within undergraduate engineering education. Through EML, students are able to couple strong technical skills with an entrepreneurial mindset. As a result, they are better equipped to contribute in their careers and communities. Within this KEEN’zine, you will find examples of how to incorporate EML into your classroom, without sacrificing technical content. Engineering faculty from across disciplines and institutions have authored every article in this issue, providing a hands-on view of how mindset can easily transform your courses. We call that Mindset Unleashed . Unleashing mindset is the shared mission of the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN). This network of institutions and faculty is transforming engineering education. Together, we work to instill the entrepreneurial mindset in engineering students across the nation.
